Glenn has covered the Manchester theatre scene for WhatsOnStage.com since 2001. Since then he has edited whatsonstage.com/manchester and he currently edits the Northwest site, as well as providing news, reviews, features and competitions. With a team of 19 reviewers, Glenn aims to provide theatre fans in the region with up to the minute news and first night reports. Teaching Media and Film by day is fitting as cinema is another one of his passions. Over the years Glenn has written for the Guardian, G.T, The Manchester Evening News and Broadwayworld. He currently writes for The Stage also. Glenn has interviewed the likes of Enrique Iglesias, Willy Russell, Amy Nuttall and playwright Bert V Royal, before he took Hollywood by storm with the film Easy A. And as a fan of the likes of I'd Do Anything and Over The Rainbow, he blogs his thoughts for Whatsonstage.com weekly whenever one of these shows is aired. Glenn is also a frequent visitor to productions in Liverpool, London and Sheffield, with the Crucible being a favourite venue outside of the Northwest. His favourite playwrights are Arthur Miller, Alan Bennett, David Mamet, and Tennessee Williams.
