Bottled Wasps is coming to the Northwest this week. Grace and Patrick have returned to the scene of their great romantic adventure, the small seaside hotel where they stayed when they left their respective partners in order to be together. During the course of an evening they realise that much has changed. Walter, mine host, has his own issues: defender of his country and its traditions and what thanks do you get? With a complimentary bar and a sniper’s rifle that can take off the top of your head from half a mile away, how bad can it get?
Gayle Hare, executive producer and founder of Organised Chaos Productions gives five reasons why you should come and see it.
2. New Talent
Organised Chaos is all about showcasing some of the amazing new and emerging talent in the Northwest – this show does exactly that with some great characters to be portrayed.
3. Award winning Writer
The writer, Paul Buie, has written a number of plays including Jump You Bastard winner of the Customs House New Comedy Award.
4. Organised Chaos
Following a number of top reviews and sell out shows this production will be our ninth since we started two and half years ago – during this time we have showcased a lot of new talent to Northwest audiences – actors, writers, directors, designers to name a few of the roles involved in making a show a reality.
5. Arts Council
This show is the first to be supported by the Arts Council through National Lottery funding. To be recognised by the Arts Council for our achievements in supporting some of the great new and emerging talent is great news for us. It’s fantastic that we’re able to better financially support the debut of this fantastic new play and the talent involved.
