A bumper season taking the venue into next year

Kiln Theatre has announced its 2026/27 season, the first full programme from artistic director and chief executive Amit Sharma, featuring two UK premieres, a new production of Natasha Gordon’s Nine Night and a community production involving 80 local performers.
The season begins with All The Things We Can’t Explain, a new play by Sonia Jalaly, running on the Kiln main stage from 31 July to 1 August 2026 as part of the previously announced Kilburn High Road Festival.
Co-directed by Kane Husbands and Izzy Rabey, the production is performed by Kiln Theatre’s Intergenerational Company, made up of community members aged between six and 88.
Douglas Lyons’ comedy Table 17 receives its UK premiere from 17 September to 24 October 2026. Directed by 2026 Tony Award nominee Zhailon Levingston, the play centres on two former fiancés who reunite for dinner after years apart.
The production stars Marisha Wallace as Jada, alongside Michael Rishawn, who reprises his role as River/Eric following previous runs in New York and Los Angeles. It is produced in association with Jamie Wilson Productions and Mark Cortale.
Sharma will then direct a new production of Nine Night, running from 12 November to 19 December 2026. Natasha Gordon’s debut play follows a family gathering for a traditional Jamaican wake, where long-held tensions and secrets emerge over the course of nine nights.
The play premiered at the National Theatre in 2018 before transferring to the West End and has since been revived in the UK and staged in the United States.
The season concludes with the UK premiere of Berlin by Joanna Murray-Smith, directed by Lucy Bailey. Running from 10 March to 17 April 2027, the play follows two strangers who meet in the German capital and become increasingly entangled as hidden truths come to light. The production follows an earlier run in Australia and is presented in association with Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Eilene Davidson Productions.
Alongside the season announcement, Kiln Theatre confirmed the continuation of its £5 preview ticket scheme for Brent and Camden residents and its £10 ticket programme for under-26s. The theatre will also provide 1,000 free tickets to local people who might not otherwise be able to attend a production.
Priority booking is now open for Kiln Friends and Kiln Card holders, with general booking opening on 3 June at midday.
