Dirty Dancing – the hit West
End musical based on the iconic film is returning to Manchester next month.

Lasting five years at the Aldwych Theatre, the show
opened in the West End in 2006, breaking all box office records with
advanced ticket sales of over £15 million, which made it the fastest
selling show in West End history. It has since played to over 1 million
people, and closed in London on 9 July, 2011.

Dirty Dancing
– The Classic Story On Stage, written by Eleanor Bergstein, script
writer and creator of the phenomenally successful film, features all the
much-loved characters and original dialogue from the iconic film with
extra scenes.

The well known dance sequences remain with brand
new choreography, set to all the hits from the best selling soundtrack,
such as “Do You Love Me?”, “Hungry Eyes” and the Academy Award Winning
“(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life”, plus many more songs that were not on
the original recording.

Dirty Dancing is at Manchester’s Palace Theatre from  21 May  – 15 June, 2012.
