Following recent success in Liverpool and Manchester the current UK tour of Legally Blonde
returns to the Manchester Opera House in September.

The touring version of the West End hit musical opened in Liverpool and won Best New Musical in our very own Whatsonstage.com Awards 2011 and
was nominated for five Olivier Awards, going on to win Best New Musical,
Best New Actress for Sheridan Smith and Best Supporting Role in a
Musical for co-star Jill Halfpenny.

Based on the hit movie
starring Reese Witherspoon, this critically acclaimed new musical is
created by a top-of-their-class creative team, led by Tony Award-winning
director and Olivier Award-nominated choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray).

College
sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods doesn’t take no for an
answer. So when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone serious,
Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard
Law School accompanied by her loveable Chihuahua, Bruiser.

Legally Blonde on tour is produced by Howard Panter for Ambassador Theatre Group, Bill Kenwright, Tulchin/Bartner Productions, Jamie Hendry Productions in association with MGM ON STAGE, Darcie Denkert and Dean Stolber and with associate producers Rupert Gavin for Incidental Colman and Amy Anzel.

Legally Blonde runs at the Manchester Opera House from 11- 22
September, 2012.
