Today's the day when we all make New Year Resolutions. The 24:7 Theatre Festival is inviting wannabe writers to submit their scripts. What better way to start a new year?

July, 2004 saw the first 24:7 take place in Manchester. Next year's Festival, running from 18 – 25 July, will celebrate 10 years of theatre-making in city centre non-theatre venues.

The window for script submissions will remain open until midnight on 13 January 2014. Full details of the rules, the costs and how to submit your script can be found at here

Your script must be 40 – 60 minutes long, original and unpublished. It must not have formed part of a theatre season or have been on an advertised tour.

You may send in more than one script (but each as a separate submission).

The 24:7 Theatre Festival aims to showcase talent: if you are not an established writer or have not submitted work before, this will not affect your chances. The adjudication process is “blind” and they base our decisions purely on the quality of each script.

If you have any questions? Send an email to info@247theatrefestival.co.uk

Good Luck!
