The Michael Jackson musical set for Opera House & Empire later this month and March with former ”The Voice” and ”X Factor” stars.
Thriller Live!, the concert show created to celebrate the career of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, returns to the Opera House Manchester later this month, and it also arrives in Liverpool in March.
The show – which has moonwalked around the world and is in its 5th year in London’s West End – brings to life the sensational music and dancing of Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5.
It will star Cleo Higgins, former lead singer of Cleopatra and star of The Voice 2013, and the X Factor‘s Rachel Adedeji.
Thriller Live! brings to life on stage the high energy dancing and pulsating sound of many of Jackson’s greatest hits, blending video footage and effects together with choreography by the show’s award-winning director Gary Lloyd. The show is regularly updated with additional songs, new visuals and choreography.

The singer died on 25 June 2009 aged 50 when Thriller Live! was at the Opera House, Manchester. At the first performance after the singer’s death, a minute’s silence was held, the lights dimmed and a book of condolence was also opened. A year after his death, a permanent West End memorial to Michael was unveiled in the foyer of the Lyric Theatre, Thriller Live!‘s London home.
The show features fans' favourite Jackson songs, including the smash hits: "I Want You Back", "ABC", "Can You Feel It", "Off The Wall", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Smooth Criminal", "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and the title track.
Thriller Live! is at Manchester's Opera House from 27 January – 2 February and the Liverpool Empire from 3 – 8 March.
