Following in the footsteps of critically acclaimed productions of West Side Story, Oliver, Guys and Dolls, Fame and last year’s Annie, the Palace Theatre and Opera House will once again open its doors to talented young performers, who will be putting on an electrifying performance of Grease.

The Palace Theatre and Opera House’s annual Stage Experience is an rewarding two-week summer project which gives budding actors, singers, dancers and musicians aged 11 – 21 the chance to experience what it is like to work on a professionally run theatre production.

All participants work with a professional production team and get to perform Grease on the famous Palace Theatre stage in front of an audience! Auditions were held earlier in the year, and this week will see around 85 youngsters from areas including Stockport, Trafford, Rochdale, Rusholme, Bury, Warrington, Tameside, Bolton, Wigan and Buxton.

The performers have only had two weeks to put the show together. An exciting prospect for the performers and the audience.

Grease is the original High-School musical, featuring all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie including “You’re The One That I Want”, “Summer Nights” and “Hopelessly Devoted To You.”

Stage Experience’s production of Grease is at the Palace Theatre, Manchester from 8 – 10 August.
