The archetypal whodunnit has also been licensed for performance in 60 different locations worldwide, including Korea, Venezeula, Russia and Australia.
Other 60th anniversary celebrations have included outreach programmes encouraging year 6 pupils to write mystery stories of their own, and also providing thousands of children with a chance to see The Mousetrap performed.
The play continues playing at the St Martin’s theatre, and is at the Lowry from 17 – 22 March, 2014. Casting fpor the Salford dates is announced soon but Karl Howman will feature.
