Presented by the award winning Organised Chaos Productions – a double bill of plays – Broken and A Lot Of It About are coming to the North West on tour starting at The Lowry later this month. We find out their five reasons why you should go along.
3. The Venues
We have some fantastic venues lined up for this run – opening at The Lowry Studio moving on to Square Chapel in Halifax, on to The Lantern Theatre in Liverpool, The Oldham Coliseum as part of their First Break Festival and then on to The Pavilion Arts Centre in Buxton.
4. Controversy
Both of the plays deal with some very controversial issues – A Lot Of It About deals with the very controversial issue of Sex Aversion Therapy which ‘deals’ with homosexuality whilst Broken deals with other contentious issues in Mental Health.
5. Award Winning
Following a number of top reviews and sell out shows these productions will be Organised Chaos’ eleventh and twelfth since we started in 2009 – during this time we have showcased a lot of new talent to Northwest audiences – actors, writers, directors, designers to name a few of the roles involved in making a show a reality. Last year our production of AfterWords won Best New Writing at The Buxton Fringe Festival.
