The Floral Pavilion has announced the cast for their magical pantomime, Peter Pan.

In the Uk Productions panto the role of Peter Pan will be taken by Jack McMullen who is best known for appearing on our TV screens as Finn Sharkey in Waterloo Road.

Gary Turner, otherwise known as Carlos Diaz in Yorkshire Television’s Emmerdale and the evil Nathan Blake in Hollyoaks – Let Loose will be the dastardly Captain Hook which we all love to hate! His evil gang of pirates will be made up of the comedy acrobats, The Nitwits, that are sure to cause mayhem flipping all over the pirate ship!

And for the younger members of the family Derek Moran will be joining the cast as the hilarious Smee, direct from Channel 5’s Milkshake.

The theatre is going to be adapted to bring the magic of Peter Pan above the heads of the audience as the cast fly off to Neverland, the technical team are busy planning this operation and were surprised to discover that there was a little more to it than a sprinkling of fairy dust! The panto’s fairy, Tinker Bell, will however be on hand to help, although it is rumoured she will be on roller skates and so may be a little hard to pin down!

Peter Pan runs at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton from  13 December – 6 January.
