Bedroom Farce Spends Summer & beyond at Theatre by the Lake

Alan Ayckbourn’s hit comedy Bedroom Farce arrives at the Theatre By The Lake next week.

Featuring four couples, three bedrooms and one eventful night, the popular North West Theatre company promises tears of laughter before bedtime in this vintage comedy from Sir Alan Ayckbourn, one of Britain’s most popular and prolific playwrights.

Trevor and Susannah are having a row and they don’t care where they have it – under the coats on the bed at Malcolm and Kate’s house-warming, with pilchards on toast in bed with the in-laws or on top of Nick in bed with a bad back!

The cast features Stephen Aintree, George Banks, Jessica Ellis, Chris Hannon, Adrian Metcalfe, Zoe Mills, Maggie Tagney, and Louise Yates and is directed by Stefan Escreet and designed by Martin Johns.

Bedroom Farce runs at the Theare by the Lake from 22 May – 7 November.
