We caught up with Ashley and asked him: "If you were stranded on a desert island which five showtunes could you not live without?"

1. "New York, New York" from On the Town

I loved the film when I was young! In fact, anything with Gene Kelly in I loved. And it really makes me want to dance!

2. "Bui Doi" from Miss Saigon

I know I'm biased but I had to pick a song from this show. Miss Saigon means a lot to me and this song was one of my favourites to sing when I was in the ensemble. Now I get to listen to Ryan O’Gorman smash it every night!

3. "Someone Else’s Skin" from Catch Me If You Can

This song was one of my favourites to sing at college and in auditions!

4. "I Believe" from The Book Of Mormon

This song is so funny and so epic and I would love to play Elder Price someday!

5. "I Never Planned On You" from Newsies

There are bigger numbers in the show but I love this song, it's short and sweet! Also like most guys in musical theatre, Jeremy Jordan is an idol of mine.
