Tracy Letts' Killer Joe opened at Trafalgar Studios last night and we went down to chat with the company – including Orlando Bloom and Sophie Cookson – as well as guests such as Giovanna and Tom Fletcher.

Bloom stars as Killer Joe, alongside Cookson as Dottie, Neve McIntosh as Sharla, Steffan Rhodri as Ansel and Adam Gillen as Chris. The piece tells of a policeman-cum-hired killer who has been employed by a family to do away with their mother.

In her review of the show for WhatsOnStage, Sarah Crompton called the play 'a queasily peculiar work', saying 'there is no denying the play's power to provoke and to hold the audience in a fierce grip.'
