Young Vic’s award-winning Doll’s House transfers to West End

Carrie Cracknell‘s critically acclaimed Young Vic production of A Doll’s House, using an adaptation by Simon Stephens, will transfer to the Duke of York’s Theatre for a strictly limited 12 week run beginning 14 August 2013 (previews from 8 August).

Hattie Morahan will reprise her Evening Standard and Critics’ Circle award-winning portrayal of Nora Helmer, with Dominic Rowan as Torvald.

The production, which was staged at the Young Vic on a constantly revolving set, is designed by Ian MacNeil.

Tickets, which go on sale today, will be priced from £10 and there will be over 15,000 top price tickets
available at £32.50 if booked before 8 August 2013.

Young Vic artistic director David Lan said: “We are thrilled to be back in the West End bringing our two time sold-out production of A Doll’s House to the Duke of York’s and I am delighted that throughout the run we will be offering over 29,000 West End tickets at Young Vic prices.”
