Experiential theatre hit You Me Bum Bum Train has announced revised dates for its summer residency in Stratford, close to the venues for this summer’s Olympic Games.

The show sees audience members taken on a soho thrill ride of different experiences – the nature of these is a closely guarded secret, but previous incarnations have asked participants to enter a boxing match, deliver a church sermon and even burgle a house.

Performances will run at Broadway in Stratford from 19-26 July prior to the
Olympic Games, and will resume from 15 August to 19
September, running throughout the Paralympic Games.

First seen in 2010, You Me Bum Bum Train, the brainchild of artists Kate Bond and Morgan Lloyd, won the 2010 Oxford Samuel Beckett
Theatre Trust Award and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Outstanding Newcomer.

The 2012 summer run is co-commissioned by the Barbican and CREATE and presented in association with Theatre Royal Stratford East. Supported by Arts Council England, Canary Wharf Group and Stratford Renaissance Partnership, it runs as part of the London 2012 Festival.
