The Catherine Tate Show to embark on live UK tour

Producers have announced that Catherine Tate will take her critically acclaimed BBC series – The Catherine Tate Show – on a live tour across the UK.

Tate – recently seen as co-host for Shakespeare Live! – will take some of her best-known characters including 'Nan' Taylor and Geordie Georgie on a 21 date UK tour starting on 1 November at the O2 Apollo in Manchester.

The show will then visit Sheffield, Leicester, Southend, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, London, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Oxford, Brighton, Nottingham, Ipswich, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Bristol.

When asked about the tour, 'Nan' said: "She's going on tour, is she? What a load of old s**t."

Tickets for all shows will go on-sale on Friday 29 April at 10.00am.
