The plot thickens regarding rumours that Les Miserables will perform a gala at the O2 Arena as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations later this year. According to the Sun newspaper, Susan Boyle, who shot to fame for her rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” on Britain’s Got Talent last year, is being lined up to appear. “SuBo went to see a touring version of the show last week at the Edinburgh Playhouse and met the cast, including Gareth Gates” the paper reports. “This week her team are talking to Les Mis boss Cameron Mackintosh to fix plans for SuBo to play Fantine.”
