Stiles & Drewe Lather Up Soapdish Musical???

As if Betty Blue Eyes weren’t enough to keep them busy, Stiles & Drewe are also making progress on a musical version of another film, the 1991 comedy Soapdish. Sally Field, Kevin Kline and Robert Downey Jr starred in the screen original about a long-standing soap opera star whose career is threatened by the conniving of an ambitious young rival. Sally Ann Triplett and Hair’s Gavin Creel are taking part in a London workshop of the new piece today (16 April 2010).
