American composer and lyricist Scott Alan returned to the West End this weekend (13 November 2011) making a special appearance at Divas Sing Scott Alan alongside a host of London and international musical theatre talents for two performances at the Arts Theatre.

Whatsonstage.com photographer Peter Gibbons attended the afternoon performance, which featured performances by Caissie Levy (Ghost, Hair), Alexia Khadime (Wicked, Les Miserables), Ashleigh Gray (Wicked, Betwixt!), Sharon D Clarke (Ghost the Musical, We Will Rock You), Chloe Hart (Hairspray, Chess in Concert) and Annalene Beechey (Wicked, Les Miserables).

Alan was also joined on stage by Natalie Weiss who made her London theatre debut with the concerts. The singer, who came to prominence stepping in for Eden Espinosa at Alan’s 2007 Birdland concert, was recently seen in the second US tour of Wicked.

As well as accompanying the singers in numbers from his back catalogue, the Home the Musical composer also invited two members of the audience to duet with Weiss.

Divas Sing Scott Alan was produced by Simon Greiff and Phil Sykes for SimG Productions.
