The 57th Evening Standard Awards were presented at a star-studded ceremony at London’s Savoy Hotel last night (20 November 2011) hosted by Dame Edna Everage, alter-ego of comedian Barry Humphries.
The Awards saw Frankenstein co-stars Jonny Lee Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch share the Best Actor gong, whilst Olivier and Whatsonstage.com Award-winning actress Sheridan Smith added an Evening Standard Award to her trophy cabinet for her role in Flare Path at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
