Producers of Jonathan Church‘s production of Singin’ in the Rain, which transfers to the West End’s Palace Theatre from 15 February 2012 (previews from 4 February) following its successful run at Chichester Festival Theatre, have released publicity shots of the show’s stars Adam Cooper, Scarlett Strallen and Daniel Crossley dressed to take on a storm.

The musical, based on the classic 1952 MGM film starring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds, is brought to the stage with choreography by Andrew Wright.

Tickets for Singin’ in the Rain at the Palace Theatre go on sale today (26 September 2011). The production is initially booking through to 29 September 2012.

The West End cast, who reprise their roles from the Chichester production, is led by Cooper as Don Lockwood, Crossley as Cosmo Brown, Strallen as Kathy Seldon and Katherine Kingsley as Lina Lamont, with Michael Brandon as RF Simpson and Sandra Dickinson as Dora Bailey and Miss Dinsmore.

Currently at the Palace, the Whatsonstage.com Award-winning screen-to-stage musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert closes on 31 December 2011.
