Heathers the Musical: audience member proposes marriage during curtain call

Heathers the Musical may have a doomed teen love story at its heart, but that hasn't deterred one couple who watched it.
Last night a gentleman in the audience of the show took to the stage to ask his girlfriend if she would marry him. Amid roaring applause, she, thankfully, nodded her head.

The show, an adaptation of the hit 80s film starring Christian Slater and Winona Ryder is currently running at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, starring Carrie Hope Fletcher, Sophie Isaacs, Jodie Steel, Jamie Muscato and T'Shan Williams.
It is directed by Andy Flickman with choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Dan Samson and casting by Will Burton.
