The new adaptation opens at the Old Vic tomorrow night

Production images of the Old Vic's Christmas production The Lorax have been released today, ahead of the show's premiere tomorrow night.

The show is an adaptation of Dr Seuss's tale of a strange, moustachioed orange creature who speaks for the trees. The Lorax stars Simon Paisley Day, while Simon Lipkin, Ben Thompson and and Laura Cubitt will be controlling the puppet of The Lorax. The show has been adapted by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory adaptor David Greig and is directed by Max Webster.

The show is recommended for ages six and up.

Dr Seuss's The Lorax runs until 16 January.
