The score features the infamous screeching violins during the ‘shower scene’
Iconic Alfred Hitchcock film Pyscho will be screened at the Dominion Theatre on 4 March accompanied by a live 40-piece orchestra.
Billed as "incredible live experience not to be missed", the evening echoes the popular ongoing series of live orchestra screenings at the Royal Albert Hall.
Celebrated as one of Hitchcock's finest films, Psycho centres on a woman on the run who stays at the remote Bates Motel, a location harbouring a dark secret. Bernard Herrmann's score includes the screeching chords that accompany the infamous 'shower scene'.
The Dominion, currently dark following the closure of White Christmas, is also hosting a series of Frozen sing-alongs from 18 to 28 February.
