Baroque Theatre Company is a professional touring theatre company which I founded
in 2010. It launched in Norwich during 2010 and toured throughout East Anglia that year and also in 2011.

This year sees our new production of Charles DickensGreat Expectations in the Hugh Leonard adaptation which will be also be touring to the north and west of England as well as across East Anglia and south-east England.

My own background prior to an acting career was in finance, administration, office management and marketing. In my early 30s I decided to take the plunge, and pursue my dream of studying drama, graduating from the Rose Bruford College and then working as an actress professionally at a number of theatre companies within Kent, East Sussex and East
Anglia.

During this period, I also became extensively involved in the “backroom” support for productions – from forming publicity and marketing departments to scheduling rehearsals;
from liaising with theatre venue managers to organising transportation and accommodation for various tours. This experience gave me the tools and the drive to launch my own theatre company.

After Great Expectations’ spring tour (9 March to 2 June), Baroque Theatre plans to tour the thriller Veronica’s Room by Ira Levin, who wrote Rosemary’s Baby and Deathtrap.
