Charlie Bruce Thinks She Can Dance in West End???

Charlie Bruce, who won the BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance, earlier this year may soon be strutting her stuff in the West End. We hear she’s in talks to play alternate Baby in Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych Theatre. And, if she proves good enough, that may be just the beginning. Choreographer Arlene Phillips, who was a judge on So You Think You Can Dance, is apparently considering her for the lead of a Pittsburgh welder turned ballerina in her production of screen-to-stage musical Flashdance, which starts performances at the Shaftesbury Theatre in September.
