Former glamour model Abi Titmuss will continue her budding stage career in a production of John Philips’ new musical Dolly Daydream at the Barons Court Theatre later this month.

Set in a Yorkshire mill town in the summer of 1939, Dolly Daydream tells the story of a young working class girl (played by Yasmin Wakefield) who dreams of becoming a dancer. Titmuss will play three supporting roles.

After working as a nurse and training at Central School of Speech and Drama, Abi Titmuss rose to
fame as a glamour model and reality television regular. Recently though
she’s notched up a range of stage acting credits including Arthur
Miller’s Two Way Mirror (for which she won a Fringe Report Award), a national tour of The Naked Truth, Up ‘n’ Under at Hull Truck, Macbeth on tour and Stage Fright at the Canal Cafe Theatre.

Dolly Daydream runs at the Barons Court Theatre in West Kensington from 8 to 27 June 2010.
