Even for a show renowned for its celeb-tastic casting, this would be something. We hear that Pamela Anderson, the pneumatic blonde Hollywood pin-up best remembered as lifeguard CJ Parker from the 1990s American TV series Baywatch, may be joining the cast of Chicago at the Cambridge Theatre later this year. Anderson has already caused a sensation on the London stage, having made her panto debut as the Genie in the Lamp in Aladdin at New Wimbledon Theatre last December. And she won’t be the first Baywatcher in Chicago either; her former co-star David Hasselhoff made his West End debut in the Kander and Ebb musical in 2004.
