Les Enfants Terribles heads to the White Bear Theatre

A production of Jean Cocteau’s Les Enfants Terribles, in a new version by Helen Shutt, will premiere at the White Bear Theatre on 26 July 2012 (previews from 24 July).
The production by Harbinger Theatre Company will be directed by the company’s artistic director Joel Cottrell, who directed La Ronde at the White Bear Theatre in 2011.
Elisabeth and Paul, siblings orphaned in their adolescence, build themselves a private fantasy world in the confines of one room, in which laughter and play soon give way to a dangerous game too magical to resist.
Les Enfants Terribles features Alice Beaumont, Josh Taylor, Max Krupski and Alma Fournier-Carballo, and is designed by Amber Dernulc with costume design by Alice Buckingham.
It runs at the White Bear Theatre until 11 August.
