Jessie J has reportedly set her sights on writing a new musical with Andrew Lloyd-Webber.

At the recent Silver Clef music awards in London the singer said: “I would love to work with him again but what I would really like to do is write a new show”, writes the Evening Standard.

“I’d love to think we can get together when we’re both free.”

Jessie’s mind wandering back to the West End stage is no surprise given her roots in musical theatre. At the age of 9 she was cast in Lloyd-Webber’s Whistle Down the Wind and allegedly views the West End grandee as a mentor – who can tell where a partnership might lead?
