Cast for Les Misérables 2026 arena and Royal Albert Hall dates revealed

Cameron Mackintosh has announced casting for Les Misérables The Arena Concert Spectacular, which will return to the UK and Ireland before heading to New York in 2026.

The new dates follow a record-breaking world tour which opened in Belfast in 2024 and has sold over a million tickets across 30 cities in 25 countries. The arena production, developed from Les Misérables: The Staged Concert, marks the culmination of the musical’s 40th anniversary celebrations, with the London production continuing at the Sondheim Theatre.

Casting for each stop is as follows:

3Arena in Dublin from Friday 29 May to Saturday 6 June 2026

Jean Valjean will be played by Killian Donnelly (29 May 7.30pm, 30 May 7.30pm, 31 May 2.00pm, 1 June) and Gerónimo Rauch (30 May 2.00pm, 4 June 7.30pm, 6 June 2.00pm).

Javert is portrayed by Bradley Jaden (29 May 7.30pm, 30 May 7.30pm, 31 May 2.00pm, 1 June 7.30pm, 3 June 7.30pm, 5 June 7.30pm, Saturday 6 June 7.30pm) and Jeremy Secomb (30 May, 2.00pm, 4 June 7.30pm, 6 June 2.00pm).

Thénardier will be played by Matt Lucas, (except on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May when the role will be taken by Luke Kempner). Madame Thénardier will be played by Marina Prior until 1 June, with Helen Walsh taking over the role from 3 June. Fantine will be played by Katie Hall, with Jac Yarrow as Marius, Shan Ako as Éponine and Beatrice Penny-Touré as Cosette. Enjolras will be played by Christian Mark Gibbs.

Utilita Arena Birmingham from 11 to 14 June

Jean Valjean will be played by Killian Donnelly (11 June 7.30pm, 13 June 2pm, 13 June 7.30pm, 14 June 6.00pm) and Gerónimo Rauch (12 June 7.30pm, 14 June 12.30pm).

Javert is portrayed by Bradley Jaden (11 June 7.30pm, 13 June 2.00pm, 13 June 7.30pm, 14 June 6.00pm) and Jeremy Secomb (12 June 7.30pm, 14 June 12.30pm, 14 June 6.00pm).

Royal Albert Hall in London from 18 to 21 June

Jean Valjean will be played by Alfie Boe (18 June at 7.30pm, 21 June at 1.00pm), Killian Donnelly (19 June at 2.30pm, 20 June at 7.30pm) and Gerónimo Rauch (19 June at 7.30pm, 20 June at 2.30pm).

Javert is portrayed by Bradley Jaden (18 June 7.30pm, 19 June 2.30pm, 20 June 7.30pm) and Jeremy Secomb (19 June 7.30pm, 20 June 2.30pm, 21 June 1.00pm)

At Radio City Music Hall in New York from Thursday 23 July to Sunday 9 August 2026, Jean Valjean will be played by Alfie Boe, Killian Donnelly and Gerónimo Rauch, with Javert portrayed by Bradley Jaden and Jeremy Secomb. Thénardier will be played by Matt Lucas alongside Marina Prior as Madame Thénardier, while Fantine will be played by Samantha Barks. Jac Yarrow is Marius, Shan Ako is Éponine and Beatrice Penny-Touré is Cosette. Enjolras will be played by Christian Mark Gibbs.

The production will play Dublin’s 3Arena from 29 May to 6 June, Birmingham’s Utilita Arena from 11 to 14 June, London’s Royal Albert Hall from 18 to 21 June, and finally Radio City Music Hall in New York from 23 July to 2 August.

Les Misérables The Arena Concert Spectacular features a new design created for large-scale venues, with direction by James Powell and Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy, design by Matt Kinley, lighting by Paule Constable and Warren Letton, and sound by Mick Potter. The production is written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, based on Victor Hugo’s novel, with music by Schönberg and lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer.
