Actor, author, comedian, presenter, and writer Matt Lucas is one of the most recognisable personalities in British television.

He first captured audiences’ attention with his breakout role as the eccentric George Dawes in the iconic comedy panel show ‘Shooting Stars’. However, it was his collaboration with David Walliams on the BAFTA-winning series ‘Little Britain’ that cemented his status as a household name.

Over the years, Matt has built an impressive portfolio with standout roles in films such as ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Paddington’, and ‘Bridesmaids’. His television and screen work includes memorable appearances in ‘Doctor Who’, co-hosting ‘Fantasy Football’ on Sky Max, and starring in Warner Bros’ musical fantasy ‘Wonka’. This year, Matt can be seen in Ridley Scott’s ‘Gladiator 2’.

On stage, he regularly returns to the role of Thénardier in Les Misérables, having first triumphed in the role in the 25th Anniversary Concert at the O2 and later in the production at the Gielgud, before starring in the West End stage production.
