Cast announced for Hampstead Theatre's Slaves of Solitude

The adaptation of Patrick Hamilton’s novel makes its debut next month

The cast has today been announced for the world premiere of Nicholas Wright's adaptation of Patrick Hamilton's The Slaves of Solitude.

Directed by Jonathan Kent, the show will see Fenella Woolgar (Welcome Home, Captain Fox!, Handbagged) star in the lead role of Miss Roach, a wartime heroine forced to flee London and begin a romantic tryst in a countryside boarding house.

She is joined by Daon Broni, Lucy Cohu, Clive Francis, Tom Milligan, Éimear O’Neill, Susan Porrett, Richard Tate, Gwen Taylor and Amanda Walker in the production.

The show features design from Tim Hatley with lighting by Peter Mumford and sound by Paul Groothuis.

The Slaves of Solitude runs from 30 October to 25 November, with previews from 25 October.
