American TV star Leslie Jordan, whose sitcom appearances have included roles on Will & Grace and Boston Legal brings his one-man show My Trip Down the Pink Carpet to the West End’s Apollo Theatre from 3 February (previews 27 January) where it plays a limited run until 20 February.

Winner of an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, Jordan’s show is a Hollywood tell-all which combines tales of celebrity encounters, offbeat observations and Jordan’s own comic take on fame, addiction and gay culture. Jordan meets Joseph Pike to talk about his upcoming show.

My Trip Down the Pink Carpet played an Off-Broadway run at the Midtown Theater from April to July 2010. The show is produced by Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W Batman, Thomas Hopkins, Daniel Wallace and Julian Stoneman.

Leslie Jordan is followed at the Apollo by Thea Sharrock‘s production of Blithe Spirit, which transfers to the West End with an all-star cast led by Alison Steadman from 9 March (previews from 2 March) to 18 June 2011, following a national tour which started at the Theatre Royal Bath on 3 November 2010.
