Military play Our Boys, directed by David Grindley opens at the Duchess Theatre on 3 October 2012 (previews from 26 September) for a 12-week season.

To give you a taste of what to expect, here’s a recently-released video showing you what goes on behind the scenes.

Written from his own experience of playwright Jonathan Lewis‘s Our Boys is billed as a “funny yet searingly honest account of the tribulations, tedium and terror that young soldiers face when recovering from injuries.”

The cast features Cian Barry (One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, The Member Of The Wedding at the Young Vic), Jolyon Coy (Posh, Henry IV part I & II, Arthur Darvill (Soft Cops for the RSC, Doctor Faustus at the Globe, TV’s Doctor Who), Laurence Fox (Mrs Warren’s Profession at the Novello, Treats at the Garrick) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films) and newcomer Lewis Reeves.
