Fancy watching Enron in the company of a financial expert, or quaffing champagne with Sheila Hancock after a performance of Sister Act? Well these are some of the many prizes on offer in this year’s Evening Standard Christmas charity auction, in aid of Kids Company.

Other theatrical lots up for grabs in the auction, which runs until Monday (14 December), include a family ticket to The Lion King, an exclusive day out at the Royal Court Theatre, a trip to Jerusalemin the company of Evening Standard critic Henry Hitchings, and tickets to Billy Elliot replete with a backstage tour.

Bids are taken online and proceeds go to this year’s charity, Kids Company, which provides practical, emotional and educational support to 14,000 vulnerable children and young people. So it’s all for a great cause, and you could pick up a memorable Christmas present in the process!

For more info and a full list of this year’s lots (others include an art lesson with Tracey Emin and being chauffeur-driven to work by Rowan Atkinson!), visit www.standard.co.uk/auction
