Photos have been released offering a first look at The Winter's Tale, which opens at Shakespeare's Globe this week.

Will Keen (Ghosts, Almeida, The Crown, Netflix) will star as Leontes alongside Annette Badland (EastEnders, BBC, Hung Over, Royal Court) as Old Shepherd, Priyanga Burford (Consent, National Theatre) as Hermione, Sirine Saba (Goats, Royal Court) as Paulina and Oliver Ryan (Glengarry Glen Ross, West End) as Polixenes.

Adrian Bower (Hedda, Gate Theatre) plays Camillo, with Norah Lopez-Holden (Our Town, Manchester Royal Exchange) as Perdita, and Howard Ward (Wild Honey, Hampstead Theatre) as Antigonus.

The cast is completed by Zora Bishop, Becci Gemmell, Luke MacGregor, Jordan Metcalfe and Rose Wardlaw.

The Winter's Tale is one of Shakespeare's problem plays, filled with psychological drama as a family war it out. The Globe production is designed by James Perkins with composition by Isobel Waller-Bridge.

Directed by Blanche McIntyre, the piece continues artistic director Michelle Terry's first season at the South Bank venue. The season also includes a production of Othello, directed by Claire van Kampen and featuring André Holland in the title role alongside Mark Rylance as Iago.
