
The current tour of Annie has released a brand new trailer.
Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin and Thomas Meehan’s seminal musical follows a young orphan who is adopted by a billionaire, much to the chagrin of her orphanage’s owner. The show features much-loved numbers such as “It’s the Hard Knock Life”, “Easy Street”, “I Don’t Need Anything But You” and “Tomorrow”.
The revival is helmed by Curve’s artistic director Nikolai Foster, with set and costume design by Colin Richmond, choreography by Nick Winston, lighting by Ben Cracknell and sound design by Richard Brooker.
The cast includes Claire Sweeney as Miss Hannigan, Alex Bourne as Daddy Warbucks, Tanisha-Mae Brown as Grace Farrell, Christian Cooper as Rooster, and Amber Kennedy as Lily St Regis, alongside Jack Buchanan, Harrison Burley, Zoë Canham, Sophie Elmes, Belle Kizzy Green, Issy Khogali, Yujin Park, Elliot David Parkes, Carl Sanderson, Michaela Stern, Matthew Sweet and Jessica Wright.

Annie has run in the West End and on tour, with names including the late, great Paul O’Grady, Miranda Hart and Craig Revel Horwood playing Miss Hannigan.
The new tour is produced by Michael Harrison and David Ian and licensed by Music Theatre International. It is scheduled to visit Nottingham, Hull, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Truro, Cheltenham, Stoke, Crawley, Belfast, Aberdeen, Woking, Bradford, Oxford, York, Sunderland, Southampton, Norwich, Wolverhampton, Sheffield, Glasgow and Leicester.
