Venue: The Lowry
Where: Salford

You’ll be dancing in your seats as ZooNation brings Some Like It Hip Hop to The Lowry in Salford. In a city where the sun is permanently hidden from view, books are banned, women must sleep separate from the men and only live to serve them, a rebellion is brewing.  Kerri and Jo-Jo break the rules and are banished from the city.  How to get back in?  To dress as men, of course!  This plan soon starts to fail when Jo-Jo falls in love with Simeon, the newly arrived, educated young man who has no idea of Jo-Jo’s true identity.

This story is explored as one long explosion of dance and song which will leave you breathless. The story never slows down, never lets you get bored taking you from one exhilarating scene to the next with a wicked sense of humour throughout. The music is wonderful – energetic, emotional and sublimely complementing the breath-taking dancing and singing leaving you completely hooked. Hip-hop has never been this good.

This is one show that the whole family will love and I can guarantee you will be singing and dancing on the way home afterwards.
