The Garrick Theatre played host to a one-off concert showcasing the work of Emmy Award-winning American composer Lance Horne on Sunday (30 January 2011), featuring performances from the likes of Graham Norton, Alan Cumming, Hannah Waddingham and Julie Atherton.

Lance Horne: First Things Last was timed to celebrate the release of Horne’s debut album of the same name. Produced by Neil Eckersley & Paul Spicer for Speckulation Entertainment, it was directed by Daisy Prince (daughter of legendary director Hal Prince), with musical direction by Lance Horne, and sound design by Ben Evans.

The album features Horne’s songs performed by US based artists including Alan Cumming, Lea DeLaria, Cheyenne Jackson, Ricki Lake, Meow Meow, Amanda Palmer, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Alexandra Silber, alongside West End stars Julie Atherton, Aneurin Barnard, Paul Spicer, Hannah Waddingham and Emma Williams – many of whom participated in Sunday’s concert.
