Mike Leigh Returns to National in 2011???

Mike Leigh is set to return to the National Theatre with a new play next year. According to the Daily Mail, Leigh, whose last stage play Two Thousand Years premiered at the National in 2005, will create the piece using his trademark long devising process and present it “around September”. The Mail‘s Baz Bamigboye also reports that  actress Lesley Manville, a regular Leigh collaborator, may be among the cast.
