Jaime Winstone is rumoured to be making her stage debut in The Fastest Clock in the Universe at both the Leicester Curve and the Hampstead Theatre from September.
The Fastest Clock in the Universe by Philip Ridley has been described as ‘a modern day Dorian Gray.’ It follows the story of a 30 year old who refuses to acknowledge the fact that he is aging and each year celebrates his 19th birthday. The tale is dark, violent and disturbing and thus a role that Winstone’s previous film roles have prepared her perfectly for.
Directed by Edward Dick, Winstone will be starring alongside Alec Newman and Neet Mohan. Previews start at the Hampstead on the 17th September.
