Christopher Adams' play Tumulus will transfer to the Soho Theatre after running at VAULT Festival in 2018.

Directed by Matt Steinberg, the play is a noir-style murder mystery thriller in the heart of London's gay scene. It follows Anthony, who discovers that his former one-night stand has been found dead on Hampstead Heath and resolves to get to the bottom of the case.

The play stars Ian Hallard (The Boys in the Band) and Ciarán Owens (Candide), with a third actor to be announced. The cast play over 40 characters, and the piece features live foley effects and digital voices.

Tumulus won the Origins Award for Outstanding New Work at the VAULT Festival, and now comes to Soho Theatre where it runs from 16 April to 4 May.
