Grace Pervades with Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison to run in the West End

Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison will lead the cast of Grace Pervades, a new play by David Hare, in a limited West End run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from April 2026.

Produced by Theatre Royal Bath Productions, Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen for Access Entertainment, and Second Half Productions, the production will open following ticket sales launching in mid-September 2025.

Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the play explores the lives of Henry Irving and Ellen Terry, prominent figures of the Victorian stage, as well as Terry’s children, Edith Craig and Edward Gordon Craig, who both played significant roles in shaping British theatre. It was first seen at Theatre Royal Bath where it completed a run last month.

The creative team features set design by Bob Crowley, costume design by Fotini Dimou, lighting design by Peter Mumford, sound design by Elizabeth Purnell, music by Paul Englishby, casting by Jessica Ronane, associate direction by Joe Lichtenstein, and movement direction by Lucy Cullingford.

Further casting will be announced at a later date.
