Production images have been released for Lucy Kirkwood's new drama Mosquitoes, which is currently previewing on National Theatre's Dorfman stage.

Directed by artistic director Rufus Norris and starring Olivia Colman and Olivia Williams, Kirkwood's play focusses on Alice (Williams), a scientist working to find the Higgs boson at the Large Hadron particle collider in Geneva, when a tragedy collides her life with that of her Luton-based sister Jenny (Colman).

The drama is Kirkwood's newest play, following the success of her 2013 Chimerica, which transferred from the Almeida Theatre to the West End.

Mosquitoes has designs by Katrina Lindsay, lighting by Paule Constable, music by Adam Cork, sound design by Paul Arditti and video design by Finn Ross and Ian William Galloway.

Mosquitoes runs in the Dorfman, National Theatre until 28 September.
