Wife After Death, the new play from comedy writer Eric Chappell, could be set for a West End transfer following its current ten-venue UK tour. The show, which premiered last month at the Theatre Royal Brighton, stars Olivier and Tony Award-winning actor Tom Conti and centres on the family and friends of a deceased
television comedian as they figure out how they can continue to profit after his death. Writer Chappell’s previous credits include sitcoms Only When I Laugh, The Bounder, Duty Free and Rising Damp.
