Police Cops: The Musical to return for public workshops with new tunes

Police Cops: The Musical will return for public workshops.

Set in the USA in 1980, the show features a duo of mismatched police officers determined to take down a villainous crook.

The musical was seen at the 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, before two award-winning runs at Southwark Playhouse.

This new script-in-hand presentation will feature eight new songs by Ben Adams, and will be directed by Sean Foley, with Rich Morris as musical supervisor, orchestrator and arranger.

Creators Zachary Hunt, Nathan Parkinson and Tom Roe, also known as Police Cops, will be joined in the cast by Catarina de Luca, Emma Salvo and Sara Bartos.

Other shows from the comedy group include Police Cops, Police Cops in Space and Badass Be Thy Name. Their performance style is described as playful, combining physical storytelling with off-the-wall comedy.

The presentations will take place at Battersea Arts Centre from 25 September to 3 October 2026. They are produced by ROYO with Glass Half Full Productions and James Seabright.
