Bernadette Peters concert dates cancelled in the UK
The Broadway star was due to appear at the Lyceum Theatre
Tony Award-winning actress Bernadette Peters' UK concerts have been cancelled, it has been announced.
Neil Eckersley Productions Ltd made the following statement: "We regret to announce that we are unable to present our planned UK tour with multi award-winning actress Bernadette Peters, as a result of Speckulation Entertainment Ltd's unforeseen inability to fulfill our contractual obligation. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. Online bookings will be refunded automatically. Patrons who booked via others methods should contact their point of purchase for a full refund."
Peters tweeted about the news saying: "I am so disappointed, sorry to my UK audience. So unfortunate I won't get to see you".
This is not the first time a show produced by Neil Eckersley Productions Ltd has been cancelled, with Wonderland the Musical tour cancelled in 2017 and the UK tour of Bring It On postponed the same year.
Bernadette Peters was due to perform at Usher Hall in Edinburgh, Symphony Hall in Birmingham, The Lowry in Salford and Milton Keynes Theatre.
