The Tricycle Theatre's artistic director Indhu Rubasingham has announced that her production of Marcus Gardley's The House That Will Not Stand will extend by a week until 29 November 2014.

The play, first seen in the States earlier this year, is set in 1836 New Orleans, where black Creole women entered into marriages with rich white men.

Also announced today is the full company for Complicite's production of Lionboy, which plays at the Tricycle over Christmas ahead of a national and international tour.

The cast will include Martins Imhangbe (Charlie), Eric Mallett (Sergei) and Angel Lopez-Silva (Rafi), with direction by Clive Mendus and James Yeatman.

And in addition to the continuation of the previously announced season, in the new year the venue will host A Series of Increasingly Impossible Acts (12-31 January), devised by the Lyric Hammersmith's Secret Theatre Company.

Rubasingham said: "I am very happy about these collaborations and partnerships as it grows all of us, both as organisations and artists and importantly offers more variety and choice for audiences."
